Government
The Village of Third Lake, a non-home rule municipality, was incorporated in 1959 and is governed by a Mayor and a board of six Trustees. The Mayor and Trustees are elected at-large to four-year, staggered terms. The Village Clerk is an appointed position. The Village has 5 part-time employees and no full time employees.
